Mills posted his own photos from the demonstration, “a small part of a very peaceful protest. Black Lives To Matter.”
The leader of the locals has previously issued a message regarding the death of George Floyd – a condemnation of former guard Derek Chuvv.
“Suv’s actions and those around him are a reaction to what we consider to be good police. Other officers had an obligation to stop this violent attack and they failed. ” Said Mills.
Santa Cruz police released a powerful image With a heartfelt caption on Instagram – It has received praise from followers.
“The SCPD fully supports peaceful protests in Santa Cruz – we have always kept them safe,” the department wrote.
Mills has made numerous statements in the past few days, defaming police in connection with Floyd’s death.
“If a police officer is seen kneeling on the neck of a police officer and suffocating him / her, will they wait for his arrest? How different is this?” Mills tweeted.
Mills has come under fire as police across the country have taken drastic measures to control protesters, including tear gas and rubber bullets.
