Wisconsin man has eaten 33,000 Big Macs in 50 years

In 50 years, the Wisconsin man would have eaten the Big Mac almost every day, so he would have eaten an estimated 33,000 hamburgers. Not less.

On May 17, Donald Gorske described his golden wedding anniversary as “the best sandwich in the world”.

He says his honeymoon began with the famous fast food chain sandwich when he bought his first car on May 17, 1972.

“I went straight to McDonald’s, had my first three Big Macs, and then got in my car and ate them,” he explained. At the time, it seemed like ‘I was probably going to eat this for the rest of my life’.

Two Big Macs a day

American eats two hamburgers almost every day – no fries. He went on to set a Guinness World Record for the largest Big Mac eater in 1999.
