Search Mar-a-Lago: Top Secret Documents Seized From Trump

FBI agents seized “top secret” documents from former US President Donald Trump’s home in a possible violation of the Espionage Act, according to court documents released by a US judge on Friday.

The search warrant, which was kept under seal, was made public by a federal judge in Florida, along with a list of seized documents. One of these concerns the “President of France,” according to the same source

The Wall Street Journal also said it had access to a three-page list of what was seized Monday during the search, including top secret or classified documents, photos and a handwritten note.

The inventory, which The Wall Street Journal consulted, is part of a seven-page document including a search warrant, the newspaper adds.

The newspaper confirms that the inventory contains information about the “President of France”.

No other details were given regarding these items or the current French President Emmanuel Macron.

A US judge on Friday is preparing to make public court documents that could lift the veil on the reasons for the unprecedented search of the former president’s home earlier in the week.

The operation, which sparked outrage among his supporters for inciting a “political purge,” was carried out Monday by FBI agents at his residence in Mar-a-Lago, Florida.

The former president seems to be aiming to retrieve highly classified documents that he took with him when he left the White House. American law strictly restricts possession of classified documents.
