The designer announced on Monday afternoon via his Instagram account that the family cat, Kiwi, had died of cancer. It is an amazing sphinx, distinguished by its lack of fur.
She posted a small tribute on his account, along with a sweet photo of us snuggling the cat up in a blanket and laying on top of his owner.

“Our baby Kiwi left us this weekend. He got cancer. Our little sphinx has given us so much love and affection and he must have received 1 million noses in his lifetime.
Rip my beautiful kiwi, enjoy with mascara. 😻😻»
Remember that Marie-Christine recently lost her other cat, Mascara, at 2020, from consequences of feline coronavirus, ARound.
Although we know that pets don’t last forever, losing these precious companions is never easy. We send lots of sweetness and love to Marie-Christine Lavoie during these difficult times.
