Thus, this action is aimed at preventing the respective license holders from sanctioning in case of disruption. It will be valid for 90 days i.e. till June 7, 2023.
On Wednesday, she announced three additional measures, including extending the validity period of driving licenses expiring between March 9 and June 1, extending the temporary validity period of registration certificates and foreign driving validity. Licenses are valid until August 29, 2023.

During her press briefing, the minister also mentioned which SAAQ departments will facilitate the certification process.
Citizens coming to Laval, Longueuil, Langelier, Lebourgneuf, Drummondville, Saguenay and Gatineau centers can get assistance in registering on digital platforms.
