1- LogisVert
“Heating represents about 50% of household energy consumption,” explained Hydro-Québec spokesperson Cendrix Bouchard. Installing a heat pump and smart thermostat are the most effective measures to reduce this bill. A heat pump saves up to 40% in winter.
Mr. Bouchard noted with it LogisVert programYou can get a subsidy of up to $6,700 for a heat pump, depending on size, model, capacity and location, and up to $22,000 added to a central heating system. You can also get a $15,000 grant to install a heat accumulator in a forced-air central heating system.
Logisvert also provides a subsidy of $750 per 1000 BTU for geothermal heat pumps, representing between 50% and 60% of project costs.
Other LogisVert subsidies:
• Very high efficiency heat pump: $7,840;
