FIFA 21 players on the Xbox and PlayStation 4 are now able to download the latest update, and the title update 5 is now live on all platforms.
The latest update to it FIFA 21Includes significant updates on title update 5, gameplay, FIFA Ultimate Team, career mode, pro clubs, Volta football and some simple audio / visual updates.
Some of the changes mentioned in the patch notes below include Team Press D-Pad strategy, overload ball side, constant pressure, pressure on heavy touch, and pressure on possession loss tactics on in-game stamina. There are also adjustments to the division’s match-making logic ‘for placement matches to further avoid potential skill rating disparities when making matches.

The update will be approximately 2.7 GB in size on the Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and PS4. Players must update their FIFA 21 copy before playing the game, and when you start the game on the console, the title update will start automatically.
The update is available for FIFA 21 players on PC from November 12, while players on the Xbox One and PS4 will be able to download the new update from November 17.

FIFA 21 Title Update 5 Full Patch Notes
The latest title update for FIFA 21 is now available on PC (Origin / Steam), PlayStation 4 & Xbox One, and includes the following changes:
Gameplay
Made the following changes:
- Increases the distance the ball can travel after contact with the defender’s foot or leg during blocking animation.
- Before a cooldown was required, Team Press D-Pad Tactic reduced the active time from 30 seconds to 20 seconds.

- The effect of overloaded ball side D-Pad Tactic on in-game stamina is increased.

- Increased impact on static pressure, pressure on heavy touch, and stress loss strategies on game-stamina.

Fixed the following issues:
- When requesting a shot, players sometimes take longer than they intended to shoot.
- User-controlled players addressed a few instances of automatic lunge animation when the pass block assistance setting was set to Off.
- Bridge skill cannot be moved while playing with specific button remappings.
- Fixed various visual issues during some post-match boycott and promotion playoff scenes.
- When a foul occurs it leads to a yellow card, but it will not be granted due to the referee’s call for the benefit, the offender may commit another yellow card offense and will be shown a red card directly by the referee.
- In rare cases, an ision between the goalkeeper and the opposing player causes the goalkeeper to hit the ball with the ball, resulting in his own goal.
- These instances are now considered fools.
- In rare cases, the goalkeeper displays a diving save animation earlier than intended, then saves another diving.
- The initial save animation did not affect the following save animation.
- In some cases, if the pass is aimed at a receiver that is too close to the target, the requested goalkeeper throw will lead to own goal.
- Player ratings sometimes take a long time to update after a player has scored a goal.
- In the Advanced Practice scenario after the goalkeeper passes, the user may lose control of the player.
- In some House Rules match types against CPU AI, the in-game difficulty level does not match the selected setting.
- Taking the ball away from a goal and running back to the center of the pitch while performing a ceremony, the celebrating player can go through the goal frame and the net.
- Sometimes, skill moves are not performed if the ball carrier requests them as soon as the rotation is complete.
- In rare cases, one player may pause a match immediately after another player’s set piece.
- Unexpected skill game removed during pre-match loading.
- Fixed a rare stability issue that occurs during gameplay.
FIFA Ultimate Team
Made the following changes:
- Club anthem and crowd chant elements can now preview their audio on the bidding options screen.
Fixed the following issues:
- Match Making Logic is the design rivals that are adjusted for placement matches to further avoid potential skill rating inequality when making matches.
- Some ball elements did not display shadows in the game.
- When the team tries to access the Objectives screen via the button shortcut on the event screen, after the team event is over, an error message appears and the game changes to the FUT menu.
- When you return to the FUT menu after seeing an objective that is close to the deadline, the counter with the time remaining and the Take Me There button shortcut are sometimes not displayed.
- Some ceremony items did not display their proper names.
- Button sound effects are not triggered in the Co-op lobby and Co-op widget.
- Juan Roman Riquelme’s Player Item Bio is not displayed correctly.
- The Community tab incorrectly refers to tires as Levels.
- FUT adjusted the background of the store tile.
- Loan player items do not display a credit indicator icon on the Season Progress screen.
- LiveFat Friendly has some placeholder text.
- Updated FUT Pack Art on RIvals Mastery Objective.
Career mode
Fixed the following issues:
- During the discussion scenes, both false and identical manager models are used.
- In the notifications when entering the transfer hub through the loan offer and selecting the appropriate player, there is no option to accept.
- Achieve the High Finished Board Objective, which is incorrectly displayed as qualifying for the Europe Board Objective.
- The Golden Boot Award news article sometimes displays the wrong text.
- The news headline can sometimes incorrectly change the position of the club name with the player name.
- The jump-in SIM option in the In-Game Pause menu is incorrectly labeled as SIM Rest of Match.
- While playing with a real player in a player’s career, the Harry Armstrong model is not properly displayed.
- The player of the match sometimes misses the match-post scene.
- When the Youth Player is unresolved, two emails instead of one will be sent to the Player Controlled Manager.
Volta football
Made the following changes:
- Adjustable length of pre-match loading screens to give players more time to read submitted information.
Fixed the following issues:
- The players found the squads match and cited additional cases provided with the error message “Could not set up match”.
- While cycling through the views on my squad screen, avatar portraits can display the wrong background, making it difficult to read the submitted information.
- When Volta enters football, the news tile is not automatically selected.
- Visual corruption that occurs when playing a Real Madrid player in featured battles.
- Some star players performed the wrong OVR.
- Some costumes are misrepresented in the avatars during certain scenes.
- In my squad, the Team Chemistry description was truncated.
- Updated textures for multiple textile items.
Pro clubs
Made the following changes:
- Group, team and camera ceremonies can now be performed.
- The camera now zooms in slightly towards the goal scorer while celebrating.
Fixed the following issues:
- Saved custom strategies and game plans do not apply in the game.
- The Direct Runs indicator that appears in the FIFA Trainer settings does not appear during the match.
- Misinterpretation of referring to online seasons can sometimes be played out during a match.
General, Audio and Visual
Made the following changes:
- Updated how ping bars are displayed in online match lobbies to be more representative of the game experience:
- 0 to 30 milliseconds now show five green bars.
- 31 to 59 milliseconds now show four green bars.
- 60 to 99 milliseconds now show three orange stripes.
- 100 to 124 milliseconds now show two orange bars.
- 125 or more milliseconds will now show a red bar.
- This is a visual change only and does not affect the online gameplay experience.
- New menu tiles have been added for the upcoming FIFA Playtime tool, which will be available at a later date.
- FIFA PlayTime is a new suite of players that allows them to have more control and visibility over how they play and access the main menu, FUT and Volta Football.

- 25 Player Starheads included.

- Addressed the example of missing audio in the handshake scene at Kick Off.
- Wrong home and away schedule for some matches in the CONMEBOL Libertadores competition.
- In rare cases, the match will load without the appropriate textures.
- When browsing players through the club transfers screen, weak foot and skill move star ratings are not displayed properly.
- Various stability issues.
- Switch to goalkeeper control Not listed in the Basic Controls menu.
- Some examples of audio cutouts during the match were addressed.
- While celebrating the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo, other players use his voice pattern.
FIFA 21 is now out on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, and the next generation version of the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PlayStation 5 will be released on December 4, 2020.
Additionally, fans heading into FIFA 21 can also benefit from dual entitlement, allowing them to upgrade a copy of the game from the PlayStation 4 to the PlayStation 5 or from the Xbox One to the Xbox Series X / S at no extra cost.
