PS5 UK Stock Update: Direct Availability News from AO, Amazon, Walmart, Veri, Curries, Pre-Orders

The PlayStation 5 is officially here – well, depending on whether you can buy one or not.

There are two consoles, the main PlayStation 5 (£ 449.99) and the PS5 Digital Edition (349.99). The standard has a physical disk slot, but not if you are wondering what the digital edition difference is.

Sadly, no matter what console launch day you want, fans have encountered immediate stock issues, with limited availability at almost all retailers. Many were unlucky and could not even hold the console on launch day, which meant that many were waiting for the PS5 stock to become available in the UK.

Fortunately, retailers have been re-launching throughout the launch day, with standard PS5 consoles on sale, much less the digital PS5.

Sony does not currently have stock available for the console. Jim Ryan, Head of Sony Interactive Entertainment, said: “Everything is for sale. Absolutely everything sells. ”

It is unclear how much stock will be available in the coming days, and when it will arrive. Some retailers teased customers that the new PlayStation stock was on its way, but only had strict time limits.

Our top tip is looking abroad. Amazon Germany Yesterday there was stock and there was rumor Walmart Will be in stock Black Friday (November 27) as Game‌Stop, This is great news as the console is not Geo locked, meaning you can still play UK games.

Walmart has announced that we may be looking at the PS5 as part of some Black Friday news. Keep in mind that the PS5 is not geo-locked, so you can buy it from any of the retailers below and play your UK games. When will the PS5 be back in the UK?

Some retailers are very clear about their stock issues. Latest, AO.com, Posted a message on its website informing users that it was out of stock again. At least they are at the forefront!

The message says: “We’ll apologize, but unfortunately we do not currently have a PlayStation 5 console available for order and we will not have any stock in the near future.”

The curries are also on the rollercoaster. Of course Curries Customers expect to receive stock on the day of release. After the chaos, Curries canceled the experiment with a postponement.

Some customers claimed they were able to order the PS5, but then the order was canceled. Then Curries tweeted Ensures stock is not available. Since then, Curries has said she “works very hard to get more stock.”

GAME similarly says the release date will be in stock in the morning, but “discontinued”.

A lot, Argos, Tesco and John Lewis On the day of the PS5 release everyone had problems with their websites, but came back online and immediately ran out of stock. EE And BT Similarly in the morning customers confirmed that they can also buy stock from them, but… you ess backed up, it sold fast.

Amazon is offering customers who complain through its web support to refresh the page regularly as it offers a little more hope for UK Restock, but, keep your expectations – no indication of when the stock will return.

When things stand, it looks like the PS5 stock is likely to return, but exceptionally and without any notice.

The Xbox Series X, which was released on November 10, also has at least some stock issues. Microsoft says the new Xbox Series X and S consoles will only be available for purchase in April 2021. This problem feels more about demand than supply. Basically we are all trapped inside the house and want to keep ourselves entertained. Even if they don’t come out like Microsoft, it is safe to assume that Sony is suffering from the same problem. One thing you’ll stick to is that Sony, in the confusion of pre-ordering, said, “More PS5s will be available by the end of the year.” Here is hope.

How to get a PS5: Top tips

1. Bookmark our page and re-check for stock – We will be updating this page and having the major retailers verified the re-start start time.

2. Make sure you are checking before any re-start start time – we will list the verified times when we get them, click through it and be ready when that stock appears, it will go away as fast as you can say ‘I want PS5’.

3. Be Ready for Your Payment Details and Money in Your Account – In the first pre-order round‌ some people reported growing the message that their console was struggling to verify or was checking payment. On the day of release it seemed easy, but make sure you remove all the barriers by handing over the money and details in the account you are using.

4. Move fast – do not think. If you know you want a PS5, decide which version, check those links! It disappears as fast as the stock appears.

5. Don’t worry – check back if you do not get the console right away. Yeah Al that sounds pretty crap to me, Looks like BT aint for me either.

Can I pick up my PS5 on lockdown?

As England is on the second national lockdown, there is some confusion and concern around those who have pre-ordered their next-generation consoles. The lockdown currently lasts until December 2 – long after the release of both the PS5 and Xbox Series X. Online orders should hopefully be delivered without issue now, many of us are wondering what this means. Did one order from a closed store because there is no need?

Well, there is a glimmer of hope and it can be found in the word ‘click and collect’. Stores like GAME and Smiths are not physically open, click and collect are permitted, and these shops and others on the same boat have verified that they have plans to ensure that you can collect your console – often in time slots.

Can I buy a PS5 in the store?

Sony said the additional stock will not be available in stores due to the England lockdown. This is a sensible choice because they do not like to gather in large groups at stores, it may not even be open, try and buy. Many people have tried to catch the PS5 pre-order so that they can get their console on release date, click and collect it.

To quote PlayStation themselves: “No units will be available in the store for purchase on launch day (November 12 or November 19 depending on your region) – please do not plan camping or lining up at your local retailer on launch day. Hoping to find a PS5 console for purchase. Stay safe, stay at home and place your order online. ”

PS5 reock startup issues

PS5 pre-orders did not go as planned and more PS5 came into stock on launch day, which was not without drama.

This journey was not so easy for most people to get the PS5 and you know that the pre-order release was not planned when the company behind it came out and accepted it. The Official PlayStation Twitter account Recently “Be honest: PS5 preorders can be very sensitive. We really apologize for that.”

When it comes to pre-orders GAME, Smiths, A lot, Amazon And regular retailers went live with the stock overnight on the first pre-order date, but it was quickly picked up. Argos and John Lewis The next one went live – and even sold out in minutes.

Most of us have been told that pre-listed consoles have sold out and are still on the way. Retailers have gained more stock by the November 19 release date – but all of this has been hovering with cancellations, queue systems and websites. The extra stock that appeared on the day of the launch sold out within minutes of flying off the virtual shelves. For now, it looks like the stock is holding back until next week.
