Miss Vickies Canada Some potato chips in it a Recall In eastern Canada earlier this month glass was accidentally sent westward due to pollution.
The chips were shipped exclusively to retail customers in Alberta, Brandon, Mann, and Moose Jaw, Sask, and the company said it was working with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency to coordinate the voluntary recall.
It said it had 630 bags and had very specific “guaranteed latest” dates and “manufacturing codes”.
Customers who purchased the chips were asked not to eat them and to throw them back or return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
In early November, Miss Vicky recalled some chips sold online and in Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Canada because of “isolated reports that there was a small piece of glass at the bottom of the bag.”
The CFIA said on its website that there were injuries associated with the products.
