After joining Team Taz Last week, Will Hobbs was now going through Powerhouse Hobbs. Hobbs is also showcasing a new look similar to the Taz outfit in his active in-ring days. Hobbes defeated Lee Johnson in a squash match on the Tonight Show.
Later, Taj came into the mic and demanded that someone from AEW management give him some respect at the FTW Championship. Cody finally came out and told Taj “run up the flagpole”. Taz and Cody traded more words and it ended when Koz Taz mentions his son Hook, who trains with him and not his own father. An angry Taj choked the chicken from behind, but was chased by members of The Nightmare Family.
As Taz moves to the back, his son Hook follows him with the FTW Championship in hand. Cody and AEW TNT champion Darby Allin will face Ricky Starks and Hobbs in next week’s show.
