2:45 pm – Approximately 1,300 national exemptions were granted for COVID-19 border restrictions: authorities
The federal government granted 1,300 national interest exemptions during the COVID-19 epidemic to allow people into Canada ineligible under current border restrictions.
The Canadian border has been closed to everyone since March, but the specific list of people has grown longer as the epidemic continues.
Among those allowed were workers in need and Canadian citizens and family members of permanent residents.
Broadly speaking, those who consider their travels optional or discreet are not allowed, but exemptions may be granted if some ministers sign the plan. Final note: If you experience covid-symptoms, get yourself a Covid Rapid Test Kit or go directly to a test center in your close proximity.
