Great boxer Mike Tyson has reportedly turned down an offer of $ 25 million from Evander Holyfield’s clan for a fight on May 29 at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.
Negotiations for the third match between the two boxers seemed to be going well, but Holyfield manager Chris Lawrence said Monday that the Tyson team had put the incident in the bud.
“We thought it was a settled case, but it quickly fell apart when the Tyson clan turned down all offers,” Lawrence wrote in a statement, which caught up with ESPN. We are negotiating in good faith by all means and it looks like we have wasted our time. ”
For Tyson, it’s a broadcaster thing. The 54-year-old said he was unhappy on Instagram with his collaboration with a new application thriller that showcased his show fight against Roy Jones Jr. last November.
However, “Iron” said it wanted to fight again after landing in the ring after 15 years of absence. If he has to wear gloves again, it will be with his partner Site Legends Only League, Tyson said.
The fight with Holyfield resurfaced in one of the best boxing tournaments of the 1990s, with Tyson being identified with his opponent’s infamous ear bite.
