Lucas Vezdemo has signed a one-year contract extension with Canadians

Montreal Canadians have announced they have agreed to a one-year contract extension with striker Lucas Vezdemo.

Here are the details of his new contract. He would pocket 50,000 750,000 if he played in the NHL and 175,000 if he played in the American League.

The Swedish youth center had a good season this year with Laval Rocket, scoring seven goals and six assists in 37 games for a total of 13 points.

At the age of 25, Wezdemo is not really a hope, but he points to credible value at Laval, who could strengthen with a bigger club if given the chance. He played a few games in the NHL last season before the epidemic. He scored his first goal in those seven games.
