The Trump camp is preparing to seize the election machinery a month after the defeat

A month after Donald Trump’s 2020 presidential defeat, the White House executive order draft ordered the country’s top military official to seize electoral machinery across the United States, according to documents released by Politico Media on Friday.

The blast document, released by the National Archives, highlights the extreme measures that the former Republican president is prepared to hold on to power.

The three-page, never-signed draft reads, ‘The Secretary of Defense will seize, collect, preserve and analyze all electoral machinery, equipment and electronically stored information relating to the election with immediate effect.’

The decree, dated December 16, 2020, provided for the appointment of a special counsel to file complaints on any fraud allegations arising out of foreclosures.

To justify this project, the document lists a series of conspiracy theories on the fact that electoral machines are being hacked – repeatedly denied. It is not known by whom it was written.

It is one of more than 750 documents submitted to the House of Representatives Committee investigating Capital Hurricane, after the Supreme Court rejected Donald Trump’s request to prevent their disclosure.

The commission, consisting mainly of elected Democrats, seeks to establish the responsibility of Donald Trump and his entourage in the January 6, 2021 attack on the Congress seat.

One year after officially leaving office, Donald Trump claimed that the 2020 election had been “stolen” from him. According to opinion polls, more than half of Republican voters agree with him.
