This decision is mine. Taking her was not so easy. But it has been thought of for a long time, has matured for a long timeHe explained to his listeners, many times in tears.

I have been thinking about my professional future for many years. The new challenges I want to embrace, I look forward to how to return to an exciting job that will allow me to learn a little more about life and the world.

This feeling of being useful and changing in your community is so rewarding and I will always be grateful to you for allowing me to experience it.

Brilliant career

Highly acclaimed by his colleagues, Claude Bernatchez has had an outstanding career in radio-Canada since 1988.

He was a radio and television presenter in Edmonton, Toronto, Montreal, and Trois-Rivieres before returning to his native Quebec.

Waking up at 3:30 every morning, which imposes a monastic life on you, manages the fatigue that has become a lifestyle, on weekends when Monday mornings are never enough to be fresh and ready. I’m not tiredHe added before multiplying thanks to his many colleagues over the years.

I have not found it yet [ce que je vais faire], But I hope this leap I am making in the vacuum allows me to get there. I don’t want to become an animator looking forward to retirement.

Since 2016, Claude Bernatchez and his team have topped the list of most listened to morning shows in Quebec. In the spring, the Morning Show took pole position for the sixth year in a row.
