Kovid-19: There are still over 1000 infected patients in our hospitals

Quebec has reported further declines in hospitals related to COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.

According to the latest report, thirty-four Cubans occupied the hospital bed the day before, bringing the total number of people hospitalized due to the virus to 1,105. The number of those in intensive care also declined (24, -7), with the province reporting six new deaths in the last 24 hours.

Also, with access to the screening center, 699 new infections were reported in Quebecs and 205 positive rapid tests were reported on Wednesday itself.

According to the Ministry of Health and Social Services, 3,943 health care workers did not attend due to the virus (preventive withdrawal, isolation, waiting for results, etc.).

For its part, Ontario reported 52 fewer hospital admissions compared to the previous day, for a total of 670. The number of people in intensive care also dropped (119, -8), and two additional deaths were reported Thursday.

In the most populous province in the country, 1,038 new cases were detected with the PCR test.
