Cowboys Fringeants singer Carl Tremblay announced on social media that he has been diagnosed with prostate cancer since January 2020.
“I’ve started chemotherapy treatments and I’m going to lose my hair and my beard in the next few weeks so I’m here to announce it to you, the public, the fans,” he said.
Despite his treatments, Carl Tremblay shared his intention to continue performing with the group if his health and his voice permitted.
“I may have less hair on stage, but the heart and the desire to make great evenings with my mates and my fellow cowboy troubadours will always be there,” he assured.
The schedule of performances may change over the next few months depending on the treatments.
