“JMP Event”: from the great Jean-Marc parent

Jean-Marc Parent returns to the Just for Laughs Festival on Friday evening, performing his legendary “JMP Event” for the first time since 2017 at the Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier in the Place des Arts.

Full of surprises and unknowns, where slippage and running out of time are commonplace – you know when it’s going to start, but you never know when it’s going to end – Friday’s event was no exception to the rule.

Combining music and comedy, the 11th edition of this signature show will be staged by Ev Kote, singer Nadja, guitarist Jeff Smallwood who opened the evening and a DJ who welcomed the guests.

Considered a “must” at the festival today, Jean-Marc Parent, Florida, tells his last anecdotes about pills and hypochondria, but also about his health, his age – he just turned 60 – and everything about aging; Among other things drooping vision due to dry ejaculation, a nocturnal tendency that is no longer fully visible, and a slightly different sexuality.
