Ben Affleck rekindled his relationship with Jennifer Lopez after sending her just one email.

The ‘Argo’ actor and the ‘On the Floor’ singer met on the set of ‘Gigley’ in late 2001 and were engaged in November 2002 until they broke up in early 2004.

However, they reconnected in April 2021 and tied the knot in Las Vegas a year later in July.

Reflecting on how they rekindled their relationship in an interview for Vogue magazine’s December 2022 issue, JLo revealed that they started talking again after the American actor emailed her. Say he complimented her in a recent conversation.

“Obviously we were trying not to go out in public,” she recalls of their first meetings.

“But, I have never been ashamed to say that there is real love between us, real love. My loved ones know that he is a very special person in my life. When we reconnected, those feelings were still very real to me.

And while she’s thrilled to have ended her fairytale with Ben Affleck, the superstar admits she wouldn’t necessarily ‘recommend’ getting back together with an ex.

“Sometimes you develop more than others or you develop differently. We lost our way and found each other. Without disparaging everything that happened between the two, because all of those things are also true. All we want is to reach a place of peace in our lives. “When you’re so young you feel that kind of love and wonder if you’ll ever get it again,” added the 53-year-old star.

Jennifer Lopez was married four times between 2004 and 2014, including to Marc Anthony, the father of her 14-year-old twins, while Ben Affleck was married to Jennifer Garner from 2005 until they divorced in 2018. daughters Violet, 16, and Seraphina, 13, and their 10-year-old son Samuel.
