Full closures are scheduled for March 26-28

The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility has announced new closures coming between the 440 westbound and 15 northbound highways.

These are necessary in the wake of construction work on a new overhead ramp between the two motorways that began on February 6.

From Sunday, March 26, 10 p.m. to Monday, March 27, 5 a.m., the westbound Highway 440 service road between Bergman Street and Highway 15 will be fully closed. It covers Highway 15 northbound to Highway 440 westbound.

Exit 22 of Highway 440 (A-15 N/Montréal/St-Jérôme/Boul. Chomedey) will also be closed westbound, as will Bergmann Street southbound, between Highway 440’s service road west and rue Berlier.

There will also be closures from 10pm on Monday, March 27 until 5am on Tuesday, March 28.

These will affect the northbound Highway 15 service road closure between the eastbound Highway 440 service road ramp and the eastbound Highway 440 service road ramp.Highway 15 northbound. The access ramp from Highway 440 to eastbound Highway 15 northbound is also expected to be fully closed.

Autoroute 440 westbound and Autoroute 15 northbound users are invited to follow detour routes marked during these two work periods, the department said.

It should be noted that this work may be postponed in case of operational constraints or unfavorable weather conditions. (NP)
