While some shopping centers allow many victims to warm up and even recharge their cellphones, Friday’s Galeries d’Anjou was unable to do so.

An internet user noticed this behavior and sent the photo to TVA Novelles.

Outlets at a luxury mall east of Montreal were covered with duct tape and planted in front of them to camouflage them.

We called customer service to ask if it was possible to come and charge our devices.

“Our customers don’t have access to power outlets, that’s the policy”, replied the attendant over the telephone. “Thursday is really an exception, there are so many people there and it’s hard to control,” the lady added when we insisted.

Internet users specifically reported that people brought all their devices and one person even used a power bar.

As a result, it is no longer possible to use these power outlets on Saturday.

Fortunately, three days after the blizzard, power was restored to the majority of Anzo’s population.

The borough was particularly affected by power outages, where a large number of citizens lost power.
