The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPAQ) has recalled ground beef, which may contain metal particles.
MAPAQ has issued a recall for this meat sold at the Super C store in Beauharnois, Montérégie. The branch is located at 400, rue Edmour-Daoust.
The department is recommending that the public not consume the product targeted by the June 6 recall of packaged lean, semi-lean, and extra-lean beef.
“The product subject to this warning was offered for sale on June 6, 2023 and only at the above-mentioned establishment. It is packaged in a styrofoam tray and covered with clear plastic wrap and served refrigerated. The product label bears the mention of “Super C” in addition to its name, sums up MAPAQ on its website.
Customers who have purchased this product may discard it or return it to the place of purchase for an exchange or refund.
Fortunately, at the time of this writing, no injuries have occurred related to the use of this product.
