[PHOTOS] Discover Maison Enfant Soleil 2024

Visitors to the Expo Havatat de Québec show will have an exclusive opportunity to discover Maison Enfant Soleil 2024 by Bonneville at the event, which runs until Sunday at the ExpoCité exhibition centre.

Operation Enfant Soleil was unveiled on Thursday the 32nd^e Maison Enfant Soleil will be open to the public during the show. With an area of 2,300 square feet, the house offers two bedrooms and a mezzanine.

The wood ceiling rises 15 feet above the living room,” explains Danny Bonneville, co-president of Bonneville Industries.

This year, the role of ambassador was handed to a 12-year-old named Charles-Edouard, whose maturity is impressive. Suffering from an inoperable benign brain tumor that threatened his vision, he underwent 70 weeks of chemotherapy treatment aimed at controlling the tumor's growth.

As he is an avid basketball, baseball and music fan and his favorite color is red, the secondary bedroom reflects his tastes and interests.

“He is a young man of great resilience and enormous determination,” said Alain Dumas, spokesman for Operation Enfant Soleil.

“Operation Enfant Soleil entered my life as soon as I started my chemotherapy treatments at CHUL,” underlined the youngster, who said he was very happy to act as an ambassador.

“Compared to my state of health, things are going very well,” assures Charles-Edouard, who attends the Pioneers school (de la Salle Pavilion) in Saint-Augustin-de-Desmours.

The proceeds collected from the sale of tickets in this draw will finance state-of-the-art medical equipment to meet the needs of children.

Tickets are $12. The draw will be live from 18th July hello, on the TVA network. Last year, ticket sales increased by $4.4 million.
