Self-service scooters return to Parc Jean-Drapeau

The self-service scooters returned to Parc Jean-Drapeau from June 16 and will be available to visitors until November 15.

“This approach is part of our commitment and our desire to improve access to the park by offering a more ecological travel option, for the enjoyment of our visitors, in a practical and flexible time,” emphasized Véronique Doucet, General Director of the Société du Parc Jean. -Drapeau (SPJD).

An aircraft display at the park dates back to 2023, when SPJD partners with the City of Montreal to conduct a pilot project.

“This service demonstrated its relevance to the park's immersive mobility offering and allowed visitors to benefit from immersive journeys, thus discovering areas less accessible by conventional means of mobility. It also had a positive impact on local tourism, which was able to explore the “scooter” circuit, thereby enriching the visitor experience,” SPJD explained in a press release on Wednesday.

It is the Lime company that will be the promoter of electric scooters for the 2024 season.
