Gino Anthony Bononcini, 29, broke into the home of his 68-year-old neighbor in San Antonio, Texas on June 10 and committed sexual assault and robbery.
He reportedly reported his misdeeds to his mother, Roxanne Bononsi, who reported him to local authorities. She and her son often exchange funny pictures on social media and they appear to be intimate.
Gino Anthony Bononsi broke into the victim’s home at around 4am. The 68-year-old woman, who was sleeping on the bed, woke up to go to the bathroom. She then stood in the corridor and saw Bononsi.
The accused asked his victim to urinate in the toilet and then took him to the bedroom to be raped.
According to his social networks, Gino Anthony Bononse worked at a children’s hospital in San Antonio, New York Post.
The attack took place on April 25. Boxer County Sheriff Javier Salazar told a news conference that Bononsi “felt very comfortable” during the action.
The mother’s statement allowed authorities to take a saliva sample from her son to identify him as the main culprit.
In Texas, fines for first-degree sexual harassment range from 5 years to life in prison.
