As of Monday morning, users trying to log in were hit with the error message “The page you were looking for was not found”. The site was re-accessed during the afternoon.
According to information shared by Desjardines spokesman Jean-Benoit Tarkotti, it took just over an hour for the financial institution to resolve the issue, which was reported at 10:45 p.m.
On social networks, Internet users respond quickly.
“AcèsD from Desjardins also down this morning, at about the same time as yesterday …”, we read in a Twitter post.
Other Internet users were disappointed that the company did not give them more information on social networks. Another user wrote, “I searched the entire Twitter for Desjardins information and found nothing … Grrr.”
On Monday, the early afternoon service continued to be interrupted for a few hours before resumption.
