With 19 new infections, Capitol-National continues to have less than 20 cases per day, on the day of the lifting of the curfew in the city’s parks and on the day of the big celebrations on the day of return, the Orange Zone. No new deaths were reported on Sunday.

By comparison, Capital-National still registered more than 30 cases a day a week ago.

However, the biggest improvement was reported in Boss-Saint-Laurent‌, with no COVID-19 case found on screening test on the last day. The number of new deaths on Sunday was also zero, according to health ministry figures.

This is a great victory for the region, which has been plagued by the virus in Quebec for some time, according to its population. Boss-Saint-Laurent still had more than twenty cases a day a week ago, however, that number has dropped very quickly over the past few days.

After all, the area will be split in two by Monday, with the western half in the red zone for another week like Montreal and Laval, while the eastern half will turn orange.

Finally, Chowdhury-Appalachian submitted a report compiling another 27 cases on Sunday. This area, due to the prevalence detected in Busius, is one of the most affected by the virus in Quebec neighborhoods, although here too, we see the end of the third wave, but the indicators are below.
