Assault in Saguenay: Victim finally charged

A man who was rushed to hospital in critical condition after being stabbed in Sagunay on Monday has finally been charged in the nebulous case.

Recall that this man, whose identity is yet to be released, was stabbed at a residence in Chicoutimi sector around 1:15 am.

When she was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries, there was a fear of her life at first. After that his condition was stable.

When officers arrived, the accused was taken into custody. Next is meeting the investigators and showing up at the end of the day.

However, ultimately the “victim” is accused in this case.

“She appeared from her hospital bed. She faces charges of injury and intimidation,” explained Saguenay Police Service (SPS) spokesperson Hervé Bergella.

On his part, the original accused was released on an assurance that he would appear.

The circumstances of the attack have still not been disclosed by the Saguenay Police Department at the time of writing these lines. It was also not possible to confirm whether there was a link between the two individuals.
