Better zoom, longer battery life

According to Vinebach, the smallest of the new iPhones – the 5.4-inch “iPhone 12 Mini” – has a more rigid Trudeaux camera system mounted on the front, resulting in a smaller horizontal, but slightly larger vertical.

Zoom is gaining ost; Weinbach claims that the Pro models will have 3x optical zoom and 25x to 30x digital zoom, but the Pro-iPhone 12 models will get better zoom through software enhancements.

Newer iPhones get 10% bigger batteries than previous models. This increases the battery life by one hour for Pro models. The 5.4-inch iPhone 12 Mini has a much lower performance when it comes to iPhone 11 battery life.

Other tips from Weinbach include support for 4K video at 120 or 240 fps, faster Face ID operation, adding night mode to the telephoto camera and lower light performance for the ultraviolet camera, and mode in macro camera mode and portrait video pro models.
