Hours after North Korea launched its intercontinental ballistic missile, Canada has condemned Pyongyang’s actions for violating its own temporary ban on long – range missile tests conducted since 2017.

“We urge North Korea, in particular, to respond to repeated proposals to resume talks with the United States and to open the way for dialogue, stability and prosperity for all people in the region,” Indo-Pacific Canada said in a statement. Announcement Thursday.
“Canada supports international and regional efforts to limit North Korea’s provocative actions and strengthen security in the Indo – Pacific region,” the agency added.
The missile traveled to the Special Economic Zone in Japan. The UN strongly condemned the shootings on Thursday morning and called on Pyongyang to suspend any action that could fuel tensions in Asia.
