Canadian: Tonight’s game is played behind closed doors at the Bell Center

The Montreal Canadians will play their Thursday night game against the Philadelphia Flyers behind closed doors at the Bell Center.

A few hours before the meeting, the company confirmed that the Quebec government had asked the team to play its duel without supporters. Spectators are required to return home and ticket holders are notified by email. They are also eligible for a refund.

“The measure announced this evening to play the game behind closed doors has disappointed our fans. We continued this action following a request from Public Health late in the afternoon, a request we accepted to ensure the health and safety of our supporters and communities. We know you want answers to Saturday’s game and we will communicate more about it as soon as we get the information to share tomorrow morning, ”said France Group Sports and Entertainment President Margaret Belanger in a statement.

This decision only applies to Thursday night’s game and more information on the following games will be announced shortly. For the future, Canadian fans are assured that they will be able to reconnect with the Bell Center by January.

Reduced efficiency
