Gift-wrapped rolls were thrown everywhere at a grocery store in London, England, where two groups of customers got into a fight on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, employees of the British grocery chain Aldi had to intervene between two groups who were hitting each other with rolls of gift wrapping while throwing other items at each other, according to images shared on the X platform, “The Sun” reported, which had reached more than 300,000 views by Wednesday.
At least ten people intervened in the fight between two women and another, but a grocery cart was placed between the two groups to calm things down.
“Stop, stop”, we can see a woman yelling at the other two as they grab the ten rolls of packaging through the ruckus like a projectile.
It is unclear what sparked the fight, although London’s Metropolitan Police, contacted by British media, have yet to issue a comment.
On social networks, many Internet users were quick to laugh at the battle, especially comparing it to the attempt of “an imitation of Black Friday in Florida”, we can read.
“Yes, now is the time to start your Christmas shopping,” commented another.
