COVID-19: Another 96 deaths in Quebec

For the first time since May 2020, more than 90 deaths have been reported in Quebec in 24 hours.

The province on Saturday reported a sad record of 96 deaths related to COVID-19. The number of hospital admissions continues to rise as there are 110 more beds than the old ones. However, there has been no increase in intensive care while 275 people are still there.

In La Belle province, there were 6,705 new positive cases in groups of people with access to screening centers.

Elsewhere in the country

The situation in Ontario is critical as the number of hospital admissions reaches 4,000. In fact, 3,957 Ontarians with Kovid-19 were hospitalized (143) and 558 were in intensive care (+31). In addition, another 42 people became infected within 24 hours.

The most populous province in the country also registered 10,732 new infections using PCR tests.
