Some are already talking about a seventh summer wave in the province, which will come sooner than expected, especially since sub-variants of the Omicron are circulating.

Quebec reported an increase of 56 hospitalizations on Wednesday, bringing the total number of Quebecers who have tested positive for Covid in hospitals to 1,497. 40 of them are in intensive care.
