October ends. Now is the perfect time to make a preliminary assessment of offseason transfers and contract renewals. Here are the players who make their bosses look their best and deserve the best candy.

Anaheim Ducks

Yes. Their differential of -20 is the worst in the NHL. The two headline acquisitions this summer, Ryan Strome and John Klingberg, are transparent. They are content with soapy gums. Most deserving? Frank VatranoHe has just signed a new three-year contract and has three goals to his name*.

Arizona Coyotes

Christian Fisher. Rehired for just $1 million, he also scored three goals, being the only forward on his team with a positive differential.

Boston Bruins

Patrice Bergeron Returned to just 2.5 million. An excellent bargain. Quebecer averages a point per game and has the best differential among all forwards in the NHL (+ 8).

Buffalo Sabres

Eric Comrie, an American League veteran, inherited the number one goalie position. He hasn’t been downgraded, his save rate is demonstrated by 91%.

Calgary Flames

Jonathan Huberdeau and Nazem Kadri The offensive production of Johnny Gaudreau and Matthew Tkachuk must be replaced. A difficult command. Kadri, however, got out of the starting blocks with a puffy chest with nine points in seven games.
