The trend of decline in COVID-19 in the province continues. Quebec reported 428 new cases and three deaths on Thursday. Hospital admission was reduced.
New cases bring the daily average to 504. The downward trend in a week is 10%.
Three additional deaths bring the daily average to four, which is consistent. Since the outbreak, 11,458 cubes have surrendered to COVID-19.
The number of hospitalizations decreased, with a total of 274 people hospitalized today, 13 less than the day before. There are now 72 people in intensive care, a steady number compared to the day before.
The number of screening tests conducted on October 19 was 32,289.
To date, more than 77,000 alarming cases have been identified in Quebec since the outbreak, including 45,661 cases of the alpha variant and 25,460 cases of the delta variant.
The vaccine is ongoing
The Ministry of Health indicates that 13,614 additional vaccine injections were given for a total of 13,131,504 doses in Quebec, or 12,928 in the last 24 hours and 689 before October 20. Outside Quebec, a total of 210,391 doses were given.
