Facebook does not know what to censor

A few months ago, Facebook, believing it was fighting counterfeit news, COVID-19 decided to censor articles that increased the likelihood of them coming from a Chinese laboratory.

Facebook believes that this cleanses the interests of democracy, especially since this thesis is associated with “extreme right”, and even worse with “conspiracy”!

We know that pasting such a label is enough to suddenly become rare. In this way one takes an idea out of public life and does not discuss a hypothesis. These labels are used to turn into a demon.

But a week ago, surprise !!! We are aware that this hypothesis is returning to public debate and should be seriously considered. Joe Biden himself is seriously considering this.

Suddenly, Facebook decided to “blame” it.

Personally, I do not know where COVID is coming from and I trust those who submit the most documented explanation. I trust the scientific authorities.

However, I have an idea about the censorship practiced by social media: those who claim to fight toxic, undemocratic, and unknowingly counterfeit news change themselves – but every time, they probably know it. – They – to control the circulating ideas in public life that activists want.

It should be a little embarrassing before giving the right to censor Facebook ideas like Twitter and YouTube or offending people.
