There were no four tornadoes Monday in many parts of Quebec, Environment Canada confirmed Friday afternoon.

“On June 21, the current weather conditions were favorable for the development of several violent cyclone cells over southern and central Quebec,” the government agency said in a press release.
“After a cooperative investigation with the North Tornado project and depending on the damage observed, it is possible for us to confirm that 4 tornadoes formed during the afternoon.”
The first force of the EF0, with a maximum wind speed of 115 km / h, hit the town of Saint-Valentine in Monterogy at 3:35 p.m.
The most violent, by the Moscow that killed one, was reported at 3:45 p.m.
At 4:10 p.m., another tornado of magnitude EF0 struck Saint-Colestine in the center-du-Quebec.
Finally, this is the Chowder-Appalachs area, at 4:50 p.m. The EF1 tornado hit Saint-Narcissus-de-Burivez with a maximum wind speed of 150 km per hour.
In addition, Environment Canada concluded that damage was caused in Saint-Alexander, Saint-Urbain-Premier and Savinigan by very strong gases.
