Fox News giant man arrested for setting fire to Christmas tree

(New York) New York police (NYPD) on Wednesday arrested a man suspected of voluntarily setting fire to a huge Christmas tree in front of the headquarters of the American television station Fox News.




The 49-year-old is now on trial for “firing” after climbing a structure supporting this bright 15-meter-tall tree set up in front of a conservative chain American building at midnight (Wednesday 5am GMT). In the heart of Manhattan.

As seen in the impressive television footage from last night, the tree was set on fire.

The man arrested had a “lighter” on him, but police do not know if he used any “catalyst” to put out the blaze, New York firefighters are yet to determine the cause, according to the NYPD.
