Galchenyuk plays spoilsport against the rocket

Alex Galchenyuk had a goal and assist to beat the Marvels Laval Rocket 4-3 on Friday night in Toronto.

It was the second goal for the former Montreal Canadians player in the Toronto uniform. He also contributed to the success of Alexander Barabanov. The second ended the match with three points.

After a period when both teams were tied 1-1, Marlis took control with three goals in the second period. Along with Galchenyuk and Barabanov, Joey Anderson also moved the ropes. Jesse Yolonen was able to close this gap.

The Rocket tried to come back in the final third, and when Josh Brooke overtook Joseph Wall they also gave themselves some hope, but to no avail. The home team goalkeeper ended the game with 31 saves.

In front of the rocket’s cage, Kaden Primou fired 27 of the 31 shots aimed at him.

Joseph Blondici gave the racquet the lead in the first period before Nick Peyton equalized the game.

This is the first duel of the season between the two opposing teams. They will meet again on Sunday at the Bell Center Ice Rink.
