The world's largest cruise ship, A symbol of the seasAfter being baptized, Lionel Messi and his teammates will depart the port of Miami and embark on the inaugural journey on Saturday.
l'A symbol of the seasIt is owned by cruise line Royal Caribbean, and spans nearly 1,200 feet from bow to stern, or more than 365 meters in length, CBS News reported.
Its 20 decks are divided into eight districts and have six slides, seven swimming pools, an ice rink, a theater and more than 40 restaurants, bars and lounges. It can carry 7,600 passengers as well as 2,350 crew members.
Just days after the official christening of soccer legend Lionel Messi and his Inter Miami teammates, the giant of the seas set sail from South Florida for its maiden seven-day voyage through tropical islands.
“L”A symbol of the seas The culmination of more than 50 years of dreaming, inventing and fulfilling our mission: to responsibly deliver the best vacation experiences to the world,” said Jason Liberty, Chairman and CEO of Royal Caribbean Group.
Initially unveiled to the world in October 2022, the ship generated the most bookings in one day and the most bookings in a week for cruise operator Royal Caribbean in its 53-year history.
“[Ce bateau] represents the ultimate multi-generational family vacation, forever changing the state of family travel and making dreams come true for all on board,” Mr Liberty added earlier this week.
