Iran: An American bomber's new flyby in the Gulf

The USB-52 bomber flew over the Gulf region on Wednesday in a third power show against rivals from the United States, including Iran, since the beginning of this year.

The so-called Stratofortress Heavy Bomber, carrying nuclear weapons, departed from Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana (southern United States) and flew with F-15 fighters from the United States Army. Saudi Air, the U.S. Army Central Command (Centacom) said in a statement.
