It took a harmless tweet from software about the Elden Ring, one of the most role-playing role-playing games in development to keep fans entertained.

It is fair to say that there has not been much news about the Elden Ring from the software collaboration with A Song of Ice and Fire author George AA Martin, which was announced in E3 2019 with the trailer, below.

Since then, software fans have been waiting for new information at every step, but alas, nothing.

Could the Elden Ring be dead? Not today, anyway. From Software has responded to its own tweets about the update made to Sekiro to identify Elden Ring fans and their plight.

This is a good time for a reminder about the Elden Ring. It has been described as “still the biggest title” from, by Hidetaka Miazaki in power. Elden Ring, who began development shortly after the DLC of Dark Souls 3 was completed, told Miyazaki that Dark Fantasy RPG was “full of things we could not do in the Dark Souls series”.

Its themes are “extravagance” and “the will, or ambition of mankind”, and Miazaki’s character “dictates the various game design, art and musical elements of the title.”

Unlike Sekiro, who thinks Miazaki has a “high focus on action”, the Elden Ring focuses more on RPG elements. However, third-person melee combat returns with a variety of “weapons, magic, and ways to engage enemies, allowing them to provide customers with appropriate gameplay and strategy” – which is good news for Dark Souls fans who have lost character customization in Samurai Game.

In fact, Miazaki promises that “players will have more diversity in ways to overcome challenges and adjust their tactics when facing enemies”, continuing from the tough but “very satisfying” experience of the Elden Ring software.

Of course, we know nothing more about the Elden Ring than we did yesterday, but this one tweet inspired fans. Maybe it will continue them for another year of radio silence?
