Once again, motorists in Greater Montreal should consider several road closures due to work this weekend, particularly at the A-25 and St-Pierre interchange.
“These areas should be avoided if possible,” Mobilité Montreal insisted in a press release sent out Thursday.
Here are the ones that will be closed in Greater Montreal from November 3rd to 6th:
Highway 25 – Friday 11 a.m. to Monday 5 a.m
In Montreal, between Exit 5 (Rue Sherbrooke) and the entrance from Avenue Sauligny, Highway 25 southbound is completely closed.
detour : via de Boucherville, Hochelaga and Dixon streets.
Closing by default : At 10:30 pm, entry from Sherbrooke Street East.
AVENUE SOULIGNY – Saturday 5am to Sunday 5am
In Montreal, westbound Avenue Sauligny between rue Honoré-Beaugrand and rue Dixon is completely closed.
detour : Hochelaga or through the streets of Notre-Dame.
Saint-Pierre Interchange – Friday 11:59 a.m. to Monday 5 a.m
Closure of ramp going from R-138 east (coming from Honoré-Mercier bridge) to A-20 east (towards city center).
detour : By ramp for A-20 West, Junction to 1d Avenue, U-turn at traffic lights and Montreal-Toronto Boulevard.
Congestion risk in the Mercier bridge and Saint-Pierre interchange area. Plan your travels.
Predictable : Monday 6th November from 5am to Friday 1st Novemberer December 11:59 pm, at all times, the 2 to 1 lane on the ramp leading from R-138 east to the A 20 east will be partially closed.
R-132/R-138 Exchanger – Friday 9pm to Monday 5am
In Kahnawake, the ramp leading from R-138 east (coming from Chateaugue) to R-132 east (toward La Prairie) is completely closed.
detour : Through the ramp for the Honoré-Mercier bridge (R-138 East) and turn at exit 2 (Rue Clement). Optional: Upstream, via Boulevard Industrial, A-30 East and A-730 West.
A-20 / A-30 Interchange – Saturday 8 am to Sunday 10 pm.
In Boucherville, the eastbound A-20 service road is completely closed at the interchange.
detour : Via the A-30 West ramp and U-turn at exit 80 (Boulevard de Montarville/Monte Montarville).
Closing by default : Ramp for A-30
Boulevard Robert-Bourassa – Friday 7 pm to Sunday 11:59 pm
The closure is planned for the city center side of the Bonaventure Expressway between William and Wellington streets.
