BREST | A criminal court on Thursday fined a young woman 1,200 euros for causing the massive fall of runners by waving a sign on the Tour de France in June.

The Brest Criminal Court convicted her of “causing harm to others” and “unintentional injuries”.

The 31-year-old National Union of Professional Cyclists (UNCP) will also have to pay the symbolic euro to the civil party.
