the milk
Milk removes ink stains and tomato sauce stains from sofas and carpets.
Mayonnaise
A small burn or white ring left by water on wooden furniture will disappear if rubbed with mayonnaise and cigarette ash.
Ketchup
With the acidity of the tomato mixed with vinegar and salt, ketchup has a slightly acidic pH that can restore its luster to a piece of jewelry or copper. Armed with an old toothbrush, you can also polish silverware.
A blackened stainless steel saucepan bottom will look good again if you cover it with ketchup sauce and let it sit for about 30 minutes before washing the pan in hot, soapy water.
Dry Mustard
You can get rid of bad odors by sprinkling dry mustard on the sink pipe. Allow the water to stand before flowing abundantly.
After washing with a bucket of warm water and 250 ml (1 cup) of dry mustard, the skunk smell on the tires and on the car body will disappear.
Club soda
You’ll find it on the carbonated drinks shelf in the supermarket.
As soon as the mess is on the carpet, pour club soda on the stains. Dirt rises to the surface and is easy to remove. Begin rubbing the outer edges of the stain working toward the center.
Grapefruit peel
White rings caused by limescale in vases and crystal glasses can be reduced by first filling these containers with hot water. Add grapefruit peel cut into small pieces. Leave for a day before washing the item in hot soapy water.
Hydrogen peroxide, also known as peroxide
Ideal for erasing burnt stains on linen, it brilliantly whitens white cottons caused by iron. It also removes old wine stains and yellow rings from white cotton tablecloths.
