Navia Bartel may be in Melbourne – one of the Australian cities hit by the COVID-19 pandemic – but she sees the crisis upside down.

WAG said The Herald Sun. She hopes this weekend has given her a much-needed opportunity to recharge.

The 35-year-old said: ‘I really feel like a coward, for whatever reason, it could have been meant to happen, because we’re all slowing down.’

Speaking to The Herald Sun this weekend, WAG hopes that this period has given her the much-needed opportunity to recharge and work on her fitness.

The budding fashion designer also appreciates the extra time she has to work on gym-honed physics and she has two sons, Aston, four and Henley, one.

‘I think for myself personally, it’s a really good thing. I really got into my fitness, I really connected with the guys and recharged, ‘she said.

Nadia said she was focused on becoming a ‘more spiritual person’ and added breathing techniques and meditation to her daily routine.

“I think this is a very good time to focus and almost sit back and be at peace with things and focus on it … it’s fun and it’s good to focus on something else,” she says.

The comments came after a difficult year for Nadia, who broke up with her AFL star ex – husband Jimmy Bartel.

The couple, who share two sons, announced their separation in August last year, but they actually split up two months ago.

As soon as the split was announced, Jimmy went public with his new girlfriend, office worker Lauren Mand‌.

Meanwhile, Nadia recently appeared alongside her ‘new boyfriend’ Nathan Brady.

The couple first appeared last month as they were running through Melbourne’s Albert Park.
