NFL Player agrees to pay in full Bitcoin

Kansas City Chiefs Tight and Sean Kulkin wants to be the first player to pay for NFL history books entirely in cryptocurrency.

The 27-year-old said he signed a deal with Missouri coach in February that could bring him 20,920,000 if he enters his team list.

“I strongly believe that Bitcoin is the future of finance and I want to prove that I am in this project, not just for quick earnings,” Kulkin wrote on his Twitter account on Thursday.

To be sure, Kulkin does not get bitcoin directly at his discretion, but instead is usually paid to him and his money is converted into cryptocurrency.

“I have always had a great interest and passion for finance and economics during my college days,” he told ESPN.

“During the off-season, I heard about the growing space of all things crypto. It always seemed to me to be big. ”

Former Carolina Panthers offensive lineman and now free agent Russell Okung became the first player to convert part of his earnings into cryptocurrency in 2020.
