Nigeria qualifies, Egypt recovers

This is a continuation of the second day of CAN 2022 (originally postponed to CAN 2021 2022). Nigeria qualified with an easy win over Sudan, Egypt lost their first match and Guinea barely recovered against Bissau.

Egypt, for its part, was able to win over a good team from Guinea Bissau. Mohammad Salah, the great star of the country, came to deliver to his team (0-1) in the 69th minute. As in Sudan, Guinea’s Bissou are expected to qualify if they win their next game against Nigeria.
