Motorists planning to use the Honoré-Mercier Bridge this weekend may need to think about a plan B due to work planned on the road, similar to the rest of Greater Montreal.
From 11 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, traffic in one direction toward Montreal will be in the opposite direction, Mobilite Montreal explained.

The entrance and reserved lane from Rue Airlie will be closed for Route 138 West, with a detour planned via Avenue Lafleur and Rue Clement.
“Congestion episodes are expected on Saturday and Sunday, during the day. MTMD recommends that road users who have to travel in this area allow more time to reach their destination,” stressed a press statement.
Elsewhere in the metropolis, Royalmount will be fully closed between 10pm on Friday and 8pm on Sunday between the Chemin Devonshire and Decarry Interchange due to the progress of Royalmount development works.
